Senior legal advisor to the company responsible for solving the problem of Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) on the Witwatersrand gold mines.
Legal adviser to gold and uranium rehabilitation projects which included water pumping and treatment obligations at and the design, construction and operation of a Mega Tailings Storage Facility (TSF).
Extensive advice on the regulatory aspects of The National Water Act and water use entitlements.

Integrally involved in finding a solution to the problem of Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) on the Witwatersrand gold mines. Adam was a director of the London AIM listed Watermark plc (the fundraising entity for the operation) and the senior legal advisor to the South African company.
Advised First Uranium regarding the water pumping and treatment obligations at the Ezulwini shaft and the water quality issues associated with the design, construction and operation of the Mega Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) at Kareerand, Stilfontein.
Adam served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the leading SA mine hydrogeological company GCS (Pty) Ltd.
Together with GCS, Adam started a water solutions provider, Integrated Water Solutions (IWS). IWS focussed on cost effective water treatment solutions for mining companies through biological and chemical means.
